What type of wedding cakes do you specialize in?

Ans: Our speciality is the chocolate fondant cake. With improved techniques acquired over several years, we have been able to perfect the art of making the Chocolate Fondant cake. The challenge that we faced when we first attempted making the chocolate fondant is the fact that the cakes melt in our weather and it could only be made for occasions that are organized in an air conditioned space. However, with multiple tests and counter testing, we are proud to declare that our chocolate fondants will not melt even if the wedding was carried out outdoors. We use “Chocolate Modelling Paste” made of high quality Belgium chocolate to craft the cakes.

What other cakes do you make?

Ans: We do accept customer’s request for other types of cakes. We can make Butter cakes with the customer’s very own flavor choice, Chocolate Raisin cakes, Fruit cakes, Almond Sugar cakes, etc

Will you accept an order for ‘Customised’ cakes?

Ans: Yes. We do accept orders for customized cakes. However, it has to be a minimum order of a 3 tier cake with the weight being approximately around 10kg. The price of the cake is dependent on the workmanship and the display stands being used. The price will also include the cost of delivery and cake assembly on site.

Is it possible to use “Dummy” cakes for the tiered cakes?

Ans: At the present moment, we do not use dummy cakes. It is not practical to use dummy cakes as the Chocolate Modelling Paste that we utilize is made up of High Quality Belgium Chocolate. As such, all the cakes that we currently make and that you see on the site is made up of real edible cakes.

Is there a need to store the cakes made with Chocolate Modelling Paste in the fridge?

Ans: There is no need to store the cakes in the fridge. As indicated earlier, that is the speciality of our cakes. They will not melt in the hot tropical Singapore weather as we have found the best techniques and methods to preserve the elegance of the cake and its tantalizing taste.

Will there be delivery charges on top of the price of the cakes?

Ans: Free delivery for $300 above. Delivery service available at a surcharge. Delivery charge applies depending on location. CBD/parking charges may apply.

What is the time lead needed for my order to be accepted?

Ans: We would be glad if you would make the order 1 month before actually delivery or earlier. Please do check on our Calendar for dates that are available for booking of cakes. We prepare our cakes with pride and joy and the whole process requires time and detailed effort that has to be carefully planned and executed. Therefore, there will be dates where we would not be able to take any orders as we need to fulfill the booked orders. We advise clients to book early as there will be certain “peak” wedding periods where orders sometimes exceed our own capacity to supply. We would not want to compromise the quality of our cakes by accepting too many orders. So, please do get in touch with us early. We would be glad to serve you the best we can.

What are the payment methods available?

Ans: We would accept 30 to 40 percent down payment, depending on the type of cake ordered. The down payment can be bank transferred to our DBS bank account through inter-bank transfer. We will provide our bank account details once the confirmation is made. The balance payment is to be given upon delivery of the cake.   A receipt as proof of payment will be provided.

Is there any extra payment needed for the cakes accessories like the cake knife and display stands?

Ans: The cake stand will be collected at the end of the occasion upon dismantling. Please do take care of the cake stands as they are custom made and custom designed stands for WeddingCakes.sg and they are often high cost items.

Does WeddingCakes.sg conduct cake making classes?

Ans: Yes. We do conduct cake making classes. If you or your company would like to engage us for cake making courses or to conduct presentations at events, please do contact us for more information and further discussion.

If there are further enquiries, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be glad to help you out to make your wedding occasion the best it can be.
